AR-15 Mil-Spec single stage... or is it? 12-13-2020

All of my AR triggers behave in the same way. They have two stages but just not as pronounced as an aftermarket trigger specifically designed for two stages and with much lighter pulls. I'm sure I'm probably in the minority but I prefer the single stage. The AR's I own all have a slight variation in how they feel during take up before they hit the wall but it's slightly more or less the same. The aftermarket Wilson Combat 4 lb single stage personally works well for me on my bench rest AR-15. The only other aftermarket single stages I have tried were Geissele and TriggerTech on demo racks at gun stores but I've never actually fired a rifle using them. They seemed pretty good on the rack.
